Project Manager, Designer
Matt Cavalier has dual expertise in design
and project management. His training as an industrial designer and his ability to define
and solve problems creatively has benefited each of his projects. Matt also brings to the CG team extensive fabrication knowledge, having worked as a designer at several commercial
sign companies. In addition to his design responsibilities Matt is responsible for the management of large projects such as the National Air and Space Museum and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
His projects have received numerous honors including the 2009 Signage Award by Signs
of the Times Magazine for The Barnes on the Parkway site interpretive signage. He was also an integral member of the design team for the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial
in DC, dedicated by President Obama in 2014.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Philadelphia University where he was a finalist in the Industrial Design Society of America’s student design competition “Eye for Why.”
