A modern signage system for the national university of the Catholic Church
The Catholic University of America is the national university of the Catholic Church founded by U.S. Bishops and authorized by Pope Leo XIII in April 1887. Located on one of the highest points in Washington DC, this 176-acre campus is home to 60 graduate and undergraduate programs across 12 schools and 21 research facilities.
CG is tasked with developing a modern, comprehensive system of wayfinding, signage and granite and limestone gateways. The new program will create a more cohesive campus by strengthening pedestrian, spatial and neighborhood connections and by defining campus edges and arrival points, helping to elevate the university as one of the capital’s premier academic centers.
