A new master plan for an expanding medical campus

Reading Hospital has expanded for over a century as medical technology and practices have evolved. As this nationally recognized teaching hospital has added new buildings, the campus has become more confusing for patients and visitors.

To address this issue, CG has developed a campus-wide master plan, with comprehensive signage and wayfinding that improve navigation from start to finish. The interior wayfinding system greatly simplifies the user experience, with color-coded connector hallways and lettered elevators. This new system also has the flexibility to respond to rapidly changing health care needs.
