CG wins the Wish PHL Wonder Cone for PARK(ing) Day 2023

For this year’s PARK(ing) Day festival, CG’s theme was “Park at your own wish.” Wouldn’t it be great if parking spaces were not only a place to rack up parking tickets, but rather a space to realize and ponder your dreams? Visitors stopped by our parklet at 4th and Market last Friday to jot down a wish, ambition, or manifestation they would like to accomplish on redesigned Philadelphia Parking Authority parking tickets. At the end of the day, over 120 wishes were added to the CG wishing space.

PARK(ing) Day is an annual event that reimagines the possibilities of public space, including the need for more pedestrian-friendly spaces in the city.
