Temple University, a public research institution located in Philadelphia, has a student population of over 38,000. With the launch of the Temple 20/20 framework for the development of the main 105-acre campus, CG was engaged by the University to design a complementary master exterior signage and wayfinding plan. The strategy addresses a broad range of campus issues, including pedestrian and vehicular wayfinding, parking and branding.
Implementation of the wayfinding system has begun. Vehicular directional signs, building identification signs, and garage IDs are all in the works or completed. As planned the new signs strengthen branding and support a more pleasant and user-friendly experience for visitors. CG kept Temple staff in mind, also, by designing a sign system that is durable and maintainable.
