Signage design for Muhlenberg College
Cloud Gehshan Design has developed wayfinding, donor, and interpretive signage design at Muhlenberg College’s new multi-use Fahy Commons. The 21,000 sq-ft building has achieved LEED Platinum certification and is Living Building Challenge CORE-Ready. The facility will be a resource for students and establish a connection with the surrounding community.
The signage program was developed to align with the project’s sustainability and biophilic design goals including use of harvested lumber from the site. Interpretive signage of various sizes and scales have been developed to communicate the many sustainable features of the building including rain water harvesting, solar array, and bird-friendly glazing.
